Soon after their foundation in 1990, SKULL CRUSHER became one of the most important Death Metal acts from Austria by releasing three outstanding demos named “Skull Crusher” (1992), “Merciless Destiny” (1993), “Deathmatch” (1994) and supporting legendary bands like Napalm Death, Massacre and Tiamat. Finally, the first full-length album THE DARKSIDE OF HUMANITY was released in 1996. Countless gigs followed and in 1998 the band got signed by NSM Records. In 2000, the sophomore album TORMENTED was released, containing technical high standard Death Metal in the vein of the famous Florida Death Metal acts. Nonetheless, SKULL CRUSHER split up and it took them about twenty years to celebrate their well-received resurrection in 2018. Now it is your turn to get your skull crushed at Kaltenbach Open Air 2020.
