The Italian band HELLMETALL was founded in 2010. The 5-piece defines its style as Folk Thrash Metal with Resian lyrics, a Slavic language spoken in the band’s home region, the Resia Valley. Generally, their music and lyrics are about World War I & II, emphasizing the brutality of both. In 2013, HELLMETALL released their first demo named “J.S.K.D.” while the debut album “Śa našo śëmjo” (translation: “For our land”), including twelve tracks of violence and folklore, was released just two years later via the American label Sliptrick Records.
